Project overview

In the Belgian PV project, a PV metering cabinet is installed at each project site. The customer installs an Acrel ADL400 three-phase energy meter in the cabinet, connects it to the gateway via RS485 communication mode, and connects the uplink Ethernet to the server. The collected information is then fed back to the PV system in real time.

Project products

The ADL400 is a smart electricity meter specifically designed for power supply systems, mining, and utility companies to calculate electricity consumption and manage power demand. It features high accuracy, a small size, and easy installation. It combines the measurement of all electrical parameters with comprehensive power measurement and management, provides a wealth of data for the past 48 months, checks the harmonic content and total harmonic content 31 times, enables remote communication and control of switch and relay inputs, and includes alarm outputs. Equipped with an RS485 communication port, it is compatible with the MODBUS RTU protocol. The ADL400 can be used in a variety of control systems, SCADA systems, and energy management systems. The device meets the technical requirements for electronic equipment in the IEC62053-21 standard.
